Kansas City Confronts Taco Crisis Amid MAGA La Migra Raids

My often hungover Grandpa used to improvise lyrics and sing them to my Grandma when I was a kid and loitered at their house constantly. Don't worry, they were legal and now long gone. MAGA mass deportation beatings promised to target criminals first but ALREADY it seems like it's way easier to meet stringent quotas by going after Mexican restaurants.

Thanks to our favorite conservative Missouri talk show . . . We learned of a recent raid out in the stix which threatens to make suburban & rural Missouri even more bland & uninviting . . . We're not bitter, we still wish them good luck selling those walnut bowls.

Today local taco servers had to pause their smiles and get serious . . . Here's the damage . . .

"Across the country, restaurants closed shop in honor of a “Day Without Immigrants” — a protest showcasing the importance of immigrants to the U.S. economy and protesting Trump’s former and current policies . . . 

"In the Kansas City metro, restaurants like Restaurante Tierra Caliente and Arenosas Mexican Food Inc. in Kansas City, Kansas, El Taco-Miendo in Olathe, multiple Aberlardo’s Mexican Fresh locations on both sides of the state line, and many other popular restaurants were closed."

“I hope everyone realizes what it is to be without an immigrant. I mean, we bring so much to this country. I mean, I hope everything changes,” (a restaurant worker) said.  

Actually . . . Taco debate really never did much beyond convincing the gringos to give the salsa verde a chance before dismissing out it outright.

But I digress . . .

Maybe so much of our American political discourse is getting spiced up by the middle-class who can't really understand the immigration debate outside of inflicting self-harm by denying themselves some of their favorite food. 

That's just our take . . . 

We're sure the bots, haters & true believers can loosen their belts and spew up something angrier, indignant and probably self-defeating . . .
