Kansas City Chiefs & Royals REALLY Leaving For The Legends?!?

Here's our main question given that some of this info comes by way of a politico in the middle-of-nowheresville Kansas and other quotes cites a Facebook spam poster.

Still . . . Here's the crux of the debate . . .

IS THE DOTTE THE FINAL DESTINATION OF THE ROYALS & CHIEFS?!?

There's reason to be skeptical here . . . First and foremost . . .

The Legends just keeps losing money. The place was looking at foreclosure back in 2012 and things didn't really get better during the course of the pandemic.

In fact . . . The Legends couldn't even support a bankrupt Christmas party last year.

So . . .

As always, we ask locals to remain skeptical about so much hype they're reading online.

Still . . .

This online chatter has sparked Missouri politicos to get a bit more serious about bids to keep the team and, as we noted last night . . . The effort to replace Exec Frank White is moving forward at full steam -- That's important because, behind the scenes, the entire KC biz community and political establishment seem to blame the Exec for putting the teams at risk.

For now . . .

We invite locals to check the reports and share their hot take . . .

Kansas State rep. Sean Tarwater sent shockwaves in the Chiefdom by revealing that they were in talks with not only one, but with both Kansas City teams. The NFL side Kansas City Chiefs and the MLB team Kansas City Royals. He said, “We are currently in negotiations and very close to bringing one team over, maybe two.”
