Justice Horn Vs. Manny Abarca In Political Fight Against MAGA

As Kansas City moves toward Spring we notice more marches, rallies and gatherings for locals to voice opposition against the second Prez Trump administration. However, this time around, we notice that the competition that emerged in the Jackson County 1st District election endures and influences the conversation.

Jackson County Legislator Manny Abarca won that 2022 contest but not without creating a rival in Justice Horn who remains critical of his leadership.

Full disclosure . . . We're doing our best to share this write-up OBJECTIVELY and merely provide readers and denizens of the cowtown political discourse with an overview and links for their own research.

The basics . . .

The discord betwixt activist Justice Horn & Jackson County Legislator Manny Abarca has sparked a rivalry which threatens to overshadow MAGA opposition from the community at-large.

Recently we noticed . . .

In a recent post that we wanted to keep upbeat . . . We notice that activist Justice Horn eluded to his opposition during a recent protest that "allowed someone who continues to harm us at the county level speak and center himself in a protest for LGBTQ+ folks."

In a recent social media argument on one of his social media pages . . . Before he shut down comments, the activist clapped back at a critic by noting . . . "You continue to align yourself with people who harm the LGBTQ+ community (Manny). You can’t celebrate your actions when you’re consistently supporting those who continue to harm us."

From the other side . . .

Legislator Abarca isn't sharing any on record criticism against Justice Horn.

However . . . It's fair and not hyperbolic to understand that there's clearly some hard feelings left over from a contentious 2022 contest that still threatens to overshadow recent demonstrations directed at President Trump.

Now . . .

This rivalry is important if only because BOTH of these local leaders have been busy organizing and pushing back against MAGA at the local level.

Imagine how much more they'd get accomplished if they didn't have compete with one another as well?!?

You decide .  . .
