Socializing is rougher in the age of the Internets . . . Sure, buying stuff online is easy but lonely and takes away the public square and markets that have been with us since the start of civilization.

Sadly . . . This kind of public nastiness is why the tradition might not survive the digital age . . . 

"Court documents said that on June 9, 2024, officers with the Overland Park Police Department were called to a Sephora after a man, later identified, was caught taking inappropriate photos of a group of females by an Overland Park detective.

"The detective reportedly saw Flynn duck down or crouch behind a display next to the group and put his phone under their dresses and skirts. According to the detective’s statement, it was “apparent” that he had been taking photos of the females."
