
It seems that Kansas City's top ranking statesman is stepping up to help federal workers.
Again . . .
Let's not forget that the federal government is the biggest employer in the metro so this advocacy might make sense across partisan lines.

WILL LOCAL VOTERS STAND WITH MAGA AS JOBS CUTS START TO TAKE THEIR TOLL ON THE LOCAL WORKFORCE?!?
Honestly, I don't know the answer . . . But what's clear is that there's no denying quick resistance from unions and workers who might otherwise align with the MAGA agenda.
And . . . Like it or not . . . It now seems like KC's former Mayor and current congressional leader is now at the forefront of this conversation . . . Check-it . . .
U.S. Representative Emanuel Cleaver, II (D-MO) says that on Thursday, Feb. 13, he heard directly from those impacted by the actions of President Donald Trump and Elon Musk.
Rep. Cleaver said he held a listening session with federal workers and local labor unions in Missouri’s Fifth Congressional District. They discussed what they feel are moves to undermine federal agencies and labor protections for civil servants.
“Civil servants are the backbone of our democracy. They keep our communities safe, our economy strong, and our government accountable,” said Congressman Cleaver.
