Congressman Cleaver Claps Back Against Federal Layoffs With Another Town Hall

Kansas City's former mayor and current top ranking statesman keeps pushing back against the White House with a series of community meeting.

He has called out the methodology of recent government layoffs and . . .

He also says that “most fair-minded people believe that there can always be trimming back in the federal government and the spending,” but what’s happening currently is being done haphazardly, he says.

Today he's holding another public meeting on the topic . . .

"I know that many members of our congressional district have experienced confusion and distress as they seek to find information about what services will remain available and which federal investments will continue to make their way to Missouri. For that reason, I will be hosting a Tele-Town Hall for Missourians in our congressional district on February 20 at 6:30 p.m. CT to provide some helpful information and hear from you directly."

You can participate in the conversation by dialing 855-927-0892 at 6:30 p.m. CT on February 20 . . . I look forward to the discussion!
