Sorry . . . This slice of life from Missouri law enforcement was too fun to pass up and offers just a hint at the weirdness that's always present on Show-Me State roads . . . Check-it:
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office started receiving reports about the monkey near a local highway on Friday afternoon. Upon arrival, they found the monkey sporting a pink tutu.
According to the agency's news release, deputies were able to get "hands-on" with the animal after "careful negotiations and some coaxing." One photo shows the deputy holding hands with the monkey.
