The basics . . . 

“At one point this morning, we had all of our major routes covered across the entire state,”  Missouri Department of Transportation State Maintenance Director Darren Hamelink said told Missourinet. “We’ve made good progress on our majors. You’re seeing some black pavement in a lot of areas, so that’s good. Although we still have covered roads down in the southeast district, essentially, kind of down in the bootheel area, if you will, where they got the most snow.”
