The "ghost gun" angle is somewhat downplayed given that the tech is now present in the suburbs.

"Initially charged with attempted capital murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, along with two misdemeanor counts of criminal use of a weapon.

"He pleaded guilty Friday to attempted premeditated murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The two misdemeanor charges were dismissed as part of the plea deal.

"He could be facing 20 years in prison, though official sentencing will be up to a judge."
