The weekend controversy intended to keep middle-class fully grown American men occupied with something other than domestic politics and foreign policy hit a crescendo this afternoon and forced a response.
To wit . . .
Are they telling us games involving the world's richest pop singer "falling in love" with a baller who JUST HAPPENS to be a leader in a football dynasty might benefit from officiating help?!?! Pshaw!!!
That's about as surprising who believe that a former game show host is REALLY gonna be the most powerful man in the world . . . And not just a rep for the talking space monkeys who really run things.

A penalty for roughing the passer and unnecessary roughness were each issued against the Houston Texans during their matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs. Both penalties were called because of a defensive player’s contact to the head or neck area of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
With rising allegations of rigged games and favoritism toward the Chiefs — Mahomes in particular — NFL Senior Vice President of Officiating Walt Anderson appeared on NFL Game Day the next day to weigh in.
Anderson concluded that the referees were right . . .
Anderson said the NFL’s goal is always to work toward making the game better.
“The game is not ever gonna be perfect, and the one thing we don’t want to do- we don’t want to let perfect be the enemy of good.”
