That post title sounds too harsh . . .
Here's the thing . . . Conservatives might explain that they don't consider "trans" people a "protected" class and therefore they're not really taking anything away from anyone . . . Per ushe, TKC phrasing might be odd but, like it or not, polling tells us that rejecting some of the more extreme facets of transgender advocacy is something that most voters support.
TKC caveat is that IT'S IMPORTANT TO RESPECT EVERYONE'S HUMANITY . . . But, we're realistic and ain't nobody got time for that in present-day political conversation.
Meanwhile . . .
Our cruel take only serves to point out a truism: It's easy for politicos to beat up on dudes wearing dresses or ladies dressed as men. It's not exactly courageous but speaks to the level of frustration building as the economy worsens and the cultural divide amongst Americans expands.
However, political posturing only gets increasingly "complicated" when youngsters are involved.
Don't worry . . .
TKC doesn't have any solutions on this topic . . . Just a reminder that, eventually, adversarial politics ends up turning away everyone but the most diehard supporters because the vast majority of voters aren't motivated by an endless cycle of antipathy.
To be fair . . .
If the Democratic Party is going to get voters "inspired" to power push back for the midterms, at some point, they're going to have to effectively turn public frustration against Republicans and this report is probably laying the groundwork for that effort . . .

“It carries so much more emotional weight,” said Republican state Rep. Ron Bryce, a doctor from southeastern Kansas. “We’re talking about children and our future.”
