A Sunday consideration of a faith community reporting . . .

The National Catholic Reporter was founded in Kansas City and remains one of the most successful independent news outlets in the world thanks to help of hundreds of thousands of progressive readers.

There have been a few conservative efforts to react to this publication but none have proven as prominent in terms of circulation and/or relevance.

Accordingly . . .

We reach back a bit for this note that summarizes their content offerings and depicts reaction from progressive Catholic ladies against the recent MAGA election mandate . . . Here's one local lady sharing her faith-based viewpoint . . .

During the past two elections, she was shocked that some of the most racist comments she saw on social media came from outwardly devout Catholics. She also tired of the demonizing of Democrats from the pulpit.

The election left her feeling "in a tailspin," but she is committed to "diving deeper into my relationship with Christ" in a way that can bring peace and healing.
