First and foremost . . . 

There's no such thing as "The Kansas City 3" and this glorified "letter to the editor" probably should have been placed in the circular file.

Nevertheless . . .

It's kind of interesting to see this town's newspaper scraping the bottom of the barrel for content.

Without delving into the activist screed . . . Here's the basics . . .

"The three African Americans have been jailed on charges of material support of terrorism for the simple reason that they raised money in the U.S. to provide support for civilians in the Southern Cameroons, for their self-defense, against Cameroon’s military forces that attacked them."
