Kansas City Standoff Suspect Basically Killed Lady Kidnapping Victim

Unfortunately, the woman in this story is on life-support and probably waiting a final decision on her fate that was likely sealed by the suspect in this story.

Here's an update on charges leveled recently and released to local media late in the day . . . 

"Judicial officials indicated that Coleman had been charged with six counts of assault, two counts of kidnapping, two counts of harassment, assault in the first degree, assault in the third degree, unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm.

"Court records noted that around 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, the Kansas City Police Department was called to an apartment building with reports of a disturbance. When officers arrived, they heard a woman screaming from an apartment before two shots were fired inside.

"Law enforcement officials said they forced their way into the home around 2:30 p.m. and a woman was found lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to her face. She was taken to a nearby hospital with an unsurvivable head injury. She is not expected to survive without life support."
