“Here in Kansas City, we’re here to say it’s ‘snow problem,’” KC Mayor Quinton Lucas said.
“We in public works are here to say we have this ready.”
Lucas said crews started pre-treating streets at 7 a.m. Friday. He also said once the storm starts, work will switch to 24/7 snowplow operations and ice treatment.
