Kansas City Slice Of Life: Plaza Stays Losing SPIN! Pizza!!!

Okay . . . THIS is probably the most important headline of the day because it speaks to troubling trend.

Bad news and after dinner considerations regarding the future . . . 

GOURMET PIZZA ABANDONS KANSAS CITY PLAZA AREA FOR PRAIRIE VILLAGE!!!

Nobody can really blame them . . . 

In fact, we have to admit that TKC often dreams of the Prairie Village good life and quaint middle-class suburban streets wherein we don't hear random gunfire or fear of machete attack by angry hobos. 

Also . . .

Let's not quibble about inconsequential deets . . . This is still the Plaza . . . It's not the "Country Club" district but right up the street from The Plaza Library and only a few doors down from the UMB plaza branch location. 

What's more important . . . 

DON'T DOWNPLAY LUXURY PIZZA GIVING UP ON THE PLAZA AMID RISING CRIME & HARSH ECONOMIC TIMES!!!

Here's the word . . . 

“This was not an easy decision for us,” said Ed Brownell, CEO of SPIN! Pizza. “Our Main Street location has been a cherished part of the SPIN! family, and we are deeply grateful to our loyal guests and team members who have made this restaurant so successful.”

The company says it will focus on its newlly-remodeled Corinth Square location in Prairie Village.
