Kansas City Restaurant 2025 Weekend Ruined By Crime?!?!

Right now . . . Thanks to BEST & BRIGHTEST TKC READERS we're sharing a very recent social media post revealing a lack of progress in protecting local property.

To wit . . .

LA BODEGA & MULTIPLE LOCATIONS NEAR THE CROSSROADS SUFFERED OVERNIGHT BREAK-INS & VANDALISM AMID RESTAURANT WEEK 2025!!!

Here's the world and a call to action as the crime-spree hurt local establishments after following a devastating blizzard and despite so much crime impacting KCMO eateries last year . . .

"La Bodega was again  broken into with multiple windows broken out.  This is the 3rd time in the last 6 weeks.  The city and the leadership MUST make immediate changes or lose all of their retail and restaurants.  There is NO excuse for this continued criminal activity and property destruction.  As citizens, we must turn up the pressure and demand accountability from our elected officials.  No jail is no excuse not to actually protect and serve our citizens and businesses who pay the taxes that they benefit from.  Time is NOW.  Please speak up and contact your Council Members and Mayor, with contacts all available at KCMO.org

"La Bodega was not the only one, once again hit early this morning at 6:30am. As we have been notified othere were also broken into and damaged, with no apparent goal in mind except destruction."
