Kansas City Preps For Nuke War?!?

Absolutely, but here's the thing . . .

Kansas City has been helping prep for nuclear war for around 70 years and it's actually a big part of the local economy.

Nevertheless . . .

It's nice that local peaceniks are still with us and seem as fiesty as ever . . . Here's the word:

"The Kansas City campus is one of the eight major sites that together produce and maintain the U.S. nuclear arsenal. After the Cold War ended in the early 1990s, interest in the nuclear threat waned. But we are now experiencing a new nuclear arms race that is proceeding without much fanfare."
