Kansas City Northeast Gas Station Endures Four Homicides In Less Than Two Years

A tragic killing recently pushed our homicide count higher and continues a troubling trend for a neighborhood resource.

We noticed the reaction is somewhat defiant and urges more assistance for this embattled urban neighborhood . . . Here's the word:

“There is nothing to be scared of I mean yes it is a shooting, but this is not the first one that happened in Kansas City and if we continue to be scared there is not going to be change,” said Guzman. He added, “More patrolling maybe, more activities going, on more fundraising, more funding within this area I feel like the more support we receive I feel like the more support they will see and try to do better.”
