C'mon man . . . These people have been through enough.
The entire Metro North mall was demolished around this Macy's and it's just sitting there in an empty field like some kind of lonely puppy.
As always, there's a development scheme in the works surrounding the place but, again as always, it hasn't really helped the economy of the area.
Alas . . .
The latest word on the demise of American retail will MERCIFULLY shut down this location.

A Kansas City-area Macy’s location is one of the stores on the list to close.
Macy’s said Kansas City’s Metro North Mall location at 400 NW Barry Road underperformed and is expected to close as early as next month. It is the only Macy’s location that remains on the Missouri side of the Kansas City metro.
