This update actually isn't new . . . Public TV & then local news did this same follow-up at the end of last year.
However . . .
Now City Hall kicks the can down the road on saving the planet . . . There's even a faraway promise from the dude who was formerly called out in a lawsuit for his laissez-faire attitude about truth and press releases.

"Construction of a solar power farm at Kansas City International Airport may not begin until late 2026 or early 2027, more than five years after City Manager Brian Platt proposed that renewable energy project on vacant airport land."
