So we were willing to ignore conspiracy theories about Taylor swift's "voodoo" powering her showomance into success.
We also can shake off the rally that was ruined by the threat of renewed gun violence that's was mostly unchecked by the previous prosecutor.
However . . .
SUPER BOWL TICKET PRICES DROPPING BY THOUSANDS THREATENS TO DIMINISH THREE-PEAT EXCITEMENT!!!
To be fair . . .
It might also signal that the middle-class economy is worse than most might have imagined and even diehard sports fans don't have the cash to endure the hip-hop half-time diss track celebration of Kendrick Lamar.
Brief aside . . .
TKC loves hip-hop more than most but the halftime show choice is HORRIBLE and we can only hope that the artist who earned a great deal of fame by way of crushing Drake in a rap battle will use his creativity to recruit other guest performers and offer fans something upbeat for the big game because the Super Bowl should be a joyous occasion for families & friends not a venue for street cred flexing.
Either way . . .
The ticket price slump is an accurate indication of disregard for the Super Bowl as the nation struggles to overcome airline tragedy, political upheaval, ongoing economic turbulence and the threat of war across the world.

"Last year's game saw prices upwards of $7,000 per seat in Las Vegas.
"Even the year before in Glendale, Arizona saw prices over $6,000 per seat.
"However, this year is a much different story.
"Since the Super Bowl matchup was announced, ticket prices have fallen by almost $1,500 per seat. Fans get get into Super Bowl LIX for just over $4,500."
