"NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the Chiefs spent more than 4 hours sitting on the plane waiting to leave the metro. Kansas City Manager Brian Platt said KCI Airport would reopen around 5 p.m.

"According to FlightAware, the Chiefs place finally took off from Kansas City shortly before 6 p.m. "
