JoCo & WyCo Stay Losing Homeless Crisis

Sadly, rising poverty and substance abuse on local streets has triggered desperate circumstances that local governments struggle to address. 

This has long bee the case in KC proper but now the nicer side of the state line struggles to keep up as well.

Here's the word .  . .

"Persistent cold this month has meant more unhoused people in the Kansas City area have needed warm, safe places to spend the night. But neither Johnson or Wyandotte counties have enough beds, and consistently have to turn people away."
