Jason Kander Suffers Truck Fire

Thankfully, nobody was hurt and their house is okay.

However . . .

Across partisan lines, we can all feel the pain of losing a formerly reliable truck.

Check the vivid deets shared by his wife Diana and more confirmation . . .

"This morning my husband, @jasonkander, started his truck and immediately smelled what he called a campfire smell.

"He got out of the car to inspect it and saw flames coming out of the hood. We tried everything we could to put it out, fire extinguisher, buckets of water, but the fire kept growing.

"Now we were concerned about it exploding. We called 911 and ran out of our house. Our neighbors all came out because the smoke and smell was so noticeable. And every couple minutes something was exploding and sending sparks everywhere.

"The fire department department got here just as our garage was starting to smoke. Their water tank was frozen so it took them a few minutes to get the water going.

"The house is ok. Just a little damage. We are ok. But RIP Jason's truck. He loved it sooo much."

A bit later . . . Jason Kander confirmed in an Instagram story:

"I'm not a 'stuff' guy but I truly loved the truck. I man Truly."
