From our vantage, this online dispute might just be a sign that the threat of MAGA immigration raids has local leadership on edge.

Most recently . . . And likely related to a great many contradictory reports about metro MAGA immigration raids in the Kansas City metro this week . . .
Brief aside . . . One of the TV stations attempted to push back on social media reporting whilst TKC only serves to remind locals that AUTHORITIES OFTEN DON'T CONFIRM any roundups, immigration busts OR sweeps . . . Surprise deportations have been a fact of life for more than a generation with a recent uptick starting last year and likely to continue into the future given that most people have no real conception of just how many MILLIONS of illegal/undocumented immigrants live in the U.S. or what that number looks like in practical terms.
But I digress . . .
Here's the rebuke from the Jackson County legislator in an exchange that started back when these two ran against each other for First District . . .
"Let me make this clear, @JusticeHorn_ doesn’t speak for the Latino community nor has trusted ties to longterm Latino serving organizations. His consistent meddling is causing more harm than good.
"This isn’t political, people’s lives are on the line, the focus should be on how do we coordinate efforts and not waste resources or time. "

Jackson County Legislator Manny Abarca On Twitter: "If you are an ally of Justice check his privilege because this is the second night where Latino leaders are wasting precious focus on him. The coordinated response shouldn’t be about him."
