Insiders: Jackson County Desperately Seeking New Interim Executive?!?!

Just a quick tidbit from behind the scenes at the courthouse . . .

Insiders are doing their calculations as the recall against Frank White moves forward with backing from The Heavy Constructors. 

However . . . There's only one problem with their math . . . 

If the recall proves successful there needs to be an interim Exec before voting on a permanent replacement.

And here's the rub . . .

Insiders tell www.TonysKansasCity.com that nobody from the Legislature wants to do it . . . Why?!? Because a legislator will have to give up their elected office in order to serve as temporary Exec.

Whatever advantage there might be for a voter election . . . It represents a risk that most Legislators aren't willing to accept.

And so . . .

CONSIDER THIS LAZY TKC POST SORT OF A WANT AD FOR THE NEW EXEC?!?!

But only if the recall keeps moving forward . . . The latest from the effort is that the Heavies have had trouble hooking up with the grassroots tax fighters and progress has STILL been surprisingly slow.
