"The Democrat from Kansas City sent a letter to Postmaster General Louis DeJoy, accusing the agency of choosing to 'lower its service standards' instead of addressing issues that caused the USPS to miss its goals.

"Cleaver says the issues could lead to further reductions in mail service, thereby eroding the public’s trust."
