"The City Council on Thursday will consider an ordinance to provide Blue KC a 10-year, 50% personal property tax abatement on furniture, fixture and equipment purchases at the 1400KC office building. The health insurer in 2022 assumed a 15-year lease there from previous planned occupant Waddell & Reed Financial Inc., started work on tenant finishes in 2023 and anticipates fully moving its headquarters to 1400 Baltimore Ave. from its longtime offices near Union Station by April."
