Asking strangers: "Is it cold enough for you???" And deriding the fortitude of youngsters staying home from school . . . Preferably from someplace equally cozy with a warm beverage.
Either way . . . The deets will be on blast via local TV all morning but here's a quick recap before TKC readers are invited to share glory from Winter's past and/or lament that global warming isn't working fast enough . . . Check-it:
"A First Warn Weather Day and a Cold Weather Advisory until noon this afternoon are in place for brutally cold and dangerous conditions. This morning, actual temperatures will be well below zero, and wind chill values of 20 to 25 below zero will be possible across the area.
"Please use extreme caution if you need to be outside this morning. Cold-related illness is possible if you are out for a short period of time. Frostbite can occur within 30 minutes with this cold temperature."
