Activist Clay Chastain Reconsidered 2025

Recently, our friend Clay called us out and he was correct . . .

His main point that we don't think he'll mind sharing . . .

A recent post on his efforts was guilty of:

"The belief that the value of an idea is solely a function of who is presenting the idea. Who over what. That attitude only serves to further dumbdown your readers, restrict discussion & divert (more) negative attention onto me."

Thing of it is as far as fairness regarding political ideas goes . . . HE'S RIGHT!!!

 Here at TKC . . . WE CONSIDER ALL THINGS KANSAS CITY!!!

And, like it or not, Clay is still a big part of the story of this town.

And so . . . With the caveat that the activist tells us he's NOT running for Mayor next time around . . .

Apropos for #TBT we keep up with a friend of the blog and his ongoing fight against city hall. 

Here's the word . . .

 Chastain (Pro se) comes to KC to continue the Battle of the Bulge (Appeals Court fight against Lucas & City) the outcome of which will determine who has the credibility to lead Kansas City forward.

As Mayor, Lawyer Lucas rode the wave of a foolish & dangerous era of... Woke politics, urban crime, censorship & lawfare against political opponents. Now that common sense has returned to the American political landscape, Lucas is a lame duck Mayor without refuge or cause.  But he remains (unless he apologizes) liable for damages he inflicted upon his political rival...Chastain...in the 2023 Mayor's race.  Recall Lucas refused to debate me, censored me, falsely arrested me and then ordered the City prosecutor to maliciously prosecute me (he lost in City court) for daring to voice my free speech @ City Hall.

Chastain rolls his new weapon onto the legal battlefield (Appellant brief he will file in the Western District Court of Appeals) to make Lucas go the way of Trudeau. After filing, Chastain will walk across the street to City Hall & personally deliver a copy to the Mayor & City.

If I prevail, I win the right to ask voters to put behind KC the worst of the worst of times & put me in charge of Making KC Great Again with (common sense) infrastructure improvements including...the construction of an Ultra Light Rail line from the Eastside's KC Zoo (along 63rd &Troost & Linwood) to a new Union Station Hub, a Rapid Monorail line (connecting the northland to the southland) operating from Union Station to the Kansas City International Airport& & a Citywide Greenway Network to transform KC into a more walkable, livable City.
