"Keep an eye on what's happening at the Overland Park Farmers Market. They're working with nearby biz, they have a plan and lots more to offer than KC. Better yet, they aren't discouraging drivers and visitors with outrageous parking fees like our city market. In the very near future, this seems like it will replace the River Market as the primary outdoor shopping destination."

Possibly . . . For now . . . Here's a worthwhile look at the construction update . . .

"The Overland Park Farmers Market is saying goodbye, for now, to its thousands of patrons. The city is tearing down its pavilion to build a brand-new home for the market. In fact, construction will be starting next week."
