Split Decision: Downtown Kansas City Rent Strike Stays Losing

On the outskirts of town . . . Activists continue their protest . . . However, inside the loop where living space is a hot commodity . . . It seems that there is very little confidence that organizing tactics will prevail.

"We have voted to pause our strike," said Clara Blessing, a tenant at Quality Hill Towers. "We do not make this decision lightly. We are using every means necessary to reach healthy and clean homes."
