Slush Fund Solves Jackson County $70M COVID Cash Crisis?!?

At the request of readers . . . Here's a separate post on today's agreement wherein the Congressman "influenced" a compromise that doesn't sound that might or might not ensure the cash is spent where needed most . . .

The new plan is lengthy. If approved the money would be split 50/50: one half for disadvantaged communities and the other for Jackson County infrastructure needs.

This money would be directed to a new unrestricted fund within the general fund and needs to be obligated to each specific area by December 31, 2025.
