Raytown Police Bust Suspect For Brandishing Gun & Threatening To 'Air Out' Bar

Tough talk and reckless behavior with a firearm sparked a holiday season arrest that terrified patrons of a local pub.

A bar employee told Raytown police he had asked SUSPECT to leave earlier in the night for threatening other customers and “causing issues.” he left, but said he would return and “air out the bar.”

When SUSPECT did come back, he was allegedly holding a LLAMA .380 caliber handgun and pointing it at people, including the employee who asked him to leave.

The police were called and when he heard their sirens approaching, the bar employee said he hid the handgun under a traffic cone by the bar’s front door. The gun was recovered and officers found a live round in its chamber, along with seven other live rounds in the magazine.
