Sadly . . .
Despite a change in ownership and a few more attractions . . .
So many empty storefronts along with hobos & loiterers seems to have ruined Christmas again for this iconic retail destination that hasn't been so crowded this year.
A quick not sent our way . . .
"Hey TKC, it was miserable at the Plaza this weekend. Not only where there only a few places open but grabbing dinner was abysmal. Lots of entitled people with bad attitudes up to and including the wait staff at some of the overpriced restaurants. Not a hater. I love the Plaza and remember when it was THE place to be during the holidays. That has changed this year and I hope new ownership can turn things around."
Accordingly . . .
We wanted to share this worthwhile missive which should remind us all TO BE NICE amid the the Christmas rush.
Check-it . . .
"The rub is that it’s Christmas. No, I don’t have to wear antlers (whew) but I have spent five hours listening to Bing Crosby. Yes, Bing, it is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas. You can feel the tension, hovering just below breaking point. Just about everyone is in a hurry."

Guardian: "I’m one of millions working in retail. This Christmas, don’t ask how we are – or we may tell you"
