We don't have a problem with politicos making more cash for sacrificing their lives & families to public service.
However . . .
GIVEN THAT SOME KANSAS REPUBLICAN POLITICOS ARE NEARLY DOUBLING THEIR SALARY, IN TURN, THEY SHOULD SUPPORT WORKING-CLASS PAY HIKES!!!
Amid worsening inflation . . . It'll take more than voting to help MOST AMERICANS on the low end despite corporate talking points that mostly serve to misdirect attention to "the economy" over outrageous CEO compensation.
Here's the damage . . .
"The bill also includes pay raises for Republicans and Democrats holding leadership positions. The Senate president and House speaker, the two most powerful positions in the Legislature, are set to make $85,000 per year compared to the $44,000 they make now."
