A peek at old & busted streets following so much recent hype about paving and public works projects ahead of the recent election . . . Here's the reality check . . .
"Broken pieces of pipe could be seen lying alongside the road. While crews indicated no one in the area had been without water, residents reported otherwise. Neighbors also said they noticed water as it gushed from the break on Thursday night but were understanding that repairs take time.
"Crews noted that the break is expected to be fixed by the end of the day. There is no word on how long repairs to the roadway will take."
Advice . . . Don't hold your breath because the wait will likely take until the next big election.

Drivers warned to avoid Waldo intersection after massive sinkhole appears
Those in the Waldo neighborhood have been warned to avoid the area of 79th and Holmes Rd. as a massive sinkhole appeared in the area overnight.
