Kansas City Police Arrest Stabbing Suspect At Plaza Pop-Up Bar

Holiday season good times were ruined by a suspect with a knife.

Our perspective . . .

For about half a decade there has been a dude walking around the Plaza with a samurai sword and this might or might not be him . . . The report describes the suspect only as a "patron" so we'll have to wait to find out. What we know for certain . . . Idyllic fun times in this embattled entertainment district are getting harder to achieve . . .

Here's the sitch . . .

Shortly before midnight, an individual was reportedly armed inside the Miracle on the Plaza pop-up bar near W. 48th and Jefferson streets.

Police said the person was “attempting to stab people” inside the business.

Employees partially barricaded the suspect in a corner using stools and bar furniture until officers arrived, KCPD said.
