“The people that call us party poopers don’t have to go on a death notification and knock on a door at 3 a.m. to tell a family their son, daughter, husband, brother, or mom isn’t coming home for something that didn’t have to happen,” said Corey Herron, a sergeant with the Merriam Police Department.
