Kansas City Mayor Q Imagines Redevelopment For Landing Dead Mall

Let's call this a "Wayback Wednesday" post as this town's top politico drudges up the memory of a nearly forgotten retail space in hopes of an East side merchant revival.

Of course this is a HORRIBLE IDEA . . . And even the Mayor admits the risk of FAIL is exceptionally high  . . . But it's still more productive than talking about the current disaster underway at Ward Parkway.

Here's the word . . .

"The future of the Landing Mall site at 63 and Troost and the land around it is something we've been working on lately.  Great conversations with ownership.  What would you like to see there? We love all answers."

Mayor Q: "It's not lost on us that mall site redevelopment, e.g., Mission Center Mall and Indian Springs, is not always easy, and can take some time, but we want to ensure the progress we're seeing on 63rd and throughout Kansas City can touch this important area of our city."
