Here's How Kansas City Workers Outsmart EV Mandate

Last week we noted that Kansas City's EV policy has confronted embarrassing challenges whilst workers wait the city to catch up with new tech

Sadly . . .

Behind the scenes KCMO government did a good job of pushing back on that story end encouraging our mainstream colleagues not to follow-up . . . They even paid to tow a few of those idle EVs just sitting around.

However . . . In response to a recent order that city hall prioritize the purchase of EVs, insiders offer a glimpse into a local workaround that's having an impact on local streets.

Here's how it works . . .

Instead of ordering an EV . . . Savvy city hall workers now request an EPIC HALF TON PICKUP and claim their job can't be performed without that kind of equipment.

That's actually not a bad idea and it beats puttering about in an unreliable EV with limited range.

Also . . .

This is also the answer as to why their are so many half ton pickups on KC streets nowadays.

Of course, here at www.TonysKansasCity.com we don't want to spoil the fun of city hall insiders who actually need this kind of equipment.

However  . . .

The latest beef inside city hall is that not everybody requires a two ton pickup to do their job even if the arguments are more about personal rivalries rather than saving the planet.

Developing . . .
