Clay Chastain Proclaims Negotiating Skill To Secure MAGA Money

The latest word form Kansas City's longtime transit activist attempts to cozy up to the new administration and reminds us his ongoing advocacy that has taken a conservative turn over the years.

Clay Chastain Press Release. It's time for those in charge to retrieve their objectivity, stop hating on Clay Chastain and put to use he & his Initiative to get MEGA MAGA MONEY to help Make Kansas City Great Again.

Unlike (Kamala) Lucas, I (publicly) backed the winning horse for President. That won't hurt if ' Mr. Chastain goes to Washington' to secure federal assistance for reviving KC around a new Alternative Transportation System (ATS). Lucas (without plan or influence) is in no post-election position to do so.

Pragmatists should agree, I have the best chance to convince Trump that granting federal money toward a plan designed to transform KC into a...safe, vibrant & walkable City with excellent public transportation & a well-connected Airport... is "just common sense" (as Trump likes to say). This vision comports with the Trump Administration's campaign promise to address the downfall of America's crime-plagued, inner cities. I will explain how ('Onward KC') addresses that aim by generating in KC's forlorn inner City...

1. Better, less-costly transportation options.
2. New Jobs constructing ATS & the new 'Bruce Watkins Greenway' (See attached rendering).
3. New Education in the trades (for ATS-jobs).
4. New Jobs cleaning up the physical environment.
5. New Jobs building affordable housing (and living in it) along (permanent) ATS Greenways.

If given the task, I will commend to Trump officials that MAGA starts with making America's troubled cities great again & that drastic, innovative change (coupled with federal assistance) is required to meet that objective.

It's time (30-years) for the 2-warring sides (Chastain & the City) to work together for the benefit of Kansas City.
