According to court documents, the first witness told the officers he heard gunshots from inside the bathroom and picked up a spent shell casing, placing it on the bar. When SUSPECT left the bathroom, the witness said he and several other customers held him down.
The witness reported that while SUSPECT was being held down, he said “I fired the gun because I thought someone locked me in the bathroom stall.”
