Today the newspaper platforms silly opinion from a person who has never read 1984 and, tragically, doesn't seem to have much knowledge of the history of Communist nations where this kind of public shaming session is required by government tyrants.
And so . . . Here's a glimpse at the bad idea that will resolve nothing in much the same way as all of the pretrial activist chatter that the dirty cop ended with a bang . . . Check-it:
"I propose that the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City set up a truth and reconciliation commission to further examine what has occurred, allow victims to tell their stories and give a space to those who were at the KCK police department and the UG to tell what they knew and know to be true."
