Remember that both the city manager AND Mayor Q promised the nation's biggest "solar array" along side of the new airport.

Finally we need to define terms when it comes to tech promises:
Vaporware: A product, typically computer hardware or software, that is announced to the general public but is late, never actually manufactured, or officially cancelled.

Big picture . . . We're not certain if federal funding for this kind of tech will be a priority in the new MAGA administration.
Here's the word . . .
Both sides are mum about what has hung up talks to erect 35 megawatts of solar generating panels on 136 acres in the project’s first phase. It could evolve into a huge 500-megawatt facility on 3,100 acres, according to the city’s vision of the project.
“It is a more complicated process than anyone would have thought,” said one City Hall source connected to the talks.
