"Police continue to be tight-lipped about what happened at Oval Spring Apartments on Thursday. Much of what happened remains unclear. However, two people – a woman who was armed with a knife and a child – are dead after a police officer fired their gun.

"This coming Friday, Oval Spring Apartments will host a memorial vigil for the child who passed away. The vigil is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the public is invited to attend. The memorial will include candles and a balloon release – in front of the building where the situation unfolded."
