TKC Told You So: Recall Jackson County Exec Part Deux!?!

On this lazy Autumn weekend we take a peek at a sequel to a movie that didn't really play well the first time around.

Just as our blog community predicted earlier this year . . . Or better and worse, there is another effort to recall Jackson County Executive.

ACTUALLY . . . There's a bit of evidence that there could be a collab betwixt old & new efforts in the works but we'll have more on that later. 

However . . . 

Here's the problem . . .

As a "First Class Charter" county . . . There is an additional legal fight in addition to garnering the voter threshold of valid petition signatures. The old group took more than a year to collect petitions and didn't even come close . . . This new effort will have to double the effort and then prepare for a court fight. 

And so . . .  Here are www.TonysKansasCity.com we love it when people exercise their democratic freedom but it's fair to be skeptical of this effort.
