"In Missouri, new amendments can become law 30 days following a general election. The amendment directs the Missouri Gaming Commission to make sports betting available by Dec. 1, 2025. There may be a considerable period for licensing and rule making before a universal date is announced. In that case, Missouri will not have legal sports betting in time for the Super Bowl. Since the historic PASPA decision in 2018, a number of states have struggled to fast-track sports betting following legalization."
