Show-Me Republican Election Observer Power Move Shut Down

This Republican tactic is kinda tricky given a simple truism . . .

Prez Trump is likely to win statewide earning all of Missouri's electoral votes AND even the most optimistic polling seyz MO GOP will sweep down ballot statewide contests . . . So are Republicans second guessing their own dominance of local elections?!?

Probably not. If anything, it all might be somewhat "cringe" as many Missouri MAGA supporters dream of earning the national spotlight but remain far away from the real action.

Here's the aftermath of a ruckus this week that added up to nothing . . .

Judge Dewayne Johnson wrote that the document filed by St. Charles County Central Committeeman Travis Allen Heins “fails to satisfy the requirements” of a temporary restraining order. Johnson didn't consider the merits of the case but dismissed the challenge because it wasn't written meeting state legal standards.

“I’m not an attorney and never claimed to be,” Heins told The Associated Press. He called the ruling disappointing but said his request “opens the conversation” about the need to clarify the roles of watchers and challengers during the early voting period in Missouri.
